Back to reality :)

Back to the awesome reality of work, eating and dressing up and the not so exciting world of manuals. :)) I’ve already accumulated 7 hours of overtime last week, and mind you that that the past week only had 3 working days. Hahaha! Indeed, ze manuals I’m working on are pretty intense. And I just can’t wait for the day that they will finally be approved!! 

The good thing about all these manual revisions though, is the college-ish vibe in the office. It’s just as if my office mates and I are classmates, undergoing hell week, I mean hell month. :)) And, I think it’s bonded everyone in such a way that we can all just go, “Ugh, kill me now, I would never want to see a manual ever again! Who’s up for milk tea to shoo away the bad vibes???” Hahaha! It’s so cool that we all love milk tea and how it never fails to keep the happy vibes around. :D

Although today was a no milk tea day since everyone’s still waiting for payday ;p,  Zeth and I did get bars of chocolates from my awesome boss that are equivalently yummyyyy!!

The sugar rush got us so hyper and we can’t stop laughing all day which made all our photos looked like “blah” Hahahaha! But I’ll try to ask Zeth for a copy so I can post some “hopefully” decent ones here. :p

For the meantime, let me share with you some cheap finds I got last week, just before I spent the rest of my money on an extra large fries! BOOM!! Super wrong move!!! 

~Pride and Prejudice book for 20% Off! Felt really lucky because Powerbooks was on sale and they will be until Sunday! Which means, come payday, I can grab myself another book, or maybe two?? Yeheyyy! :D

~Polka dot pouch from Saizen! I love everything at that all P85 shop!! I got myself this as a new make-up kit! I super love that it’s hot pink inside :D

~Cutie, classy coin purse from 50th Ave. It’s only P25!!! Just when you thought you can’t ever buy anything pretty at 25 pesos anymore, Tadah!!! It’s so puhrettyyy!! Hihihihi!! I want to have a heart embroidered on it or maybe the letter C.  ♥ ♥ ♥

That’s all for my kwento shizzz for the day. It’s way past my bedtime and I can already predict that I’ll be saying the words “soooooo sleeepy” a hundred times tomorrow. :))

Today’s Easter was a lot different from how it used to be when I was a kid.

Easter meant EGGS!! Lots and lots of eggs!! :)) My mom, being the most awesome artist in the family, would gather us up (cousins and I) to paint eggs in whatever way we want them to. Then she and the rest of the grown ups would put candies and chocolates inside and hid them wherever they can inside the house. We, the kiddos, sometimes in teams, would then search all over to get ourselves as much eggs as possible. Hahaha! I miss it a lot and I promised myself I’ll have Easter eggs to give out on my birthday, just to make everyone remember how fun it was. :D

Nevertheless, even with all these reminiscing, I had such a lovely day with my family. It was a more intimate kind of celebration wherein you give yourself that calm period to really absorb and welcome God in your life. :)
